ONE CATECHIN IN PARTICULAR, EGCG, HAS DEMONSTRATED EXTRAORDINARY FREE RADICAL QUENCHING POWER IN LABORATORY STUDIES. IN NON-CLINICAL STUDIES, EGCG HAS ALSO BEEN SHOWN TO BE PROTECTIVE AGAINST CHEMICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSAULT ON TISSUES AND HELPS TO SUPPORT HEALTHY CELL CYCLE REGULATION.
