Collagen: Marine collagen provides your body with important building blocks to support the body’s own collagen formation. Together with zinc, it is designed to aid connective tissue formation in your skin. Tomato: Tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant that helps fight cellular damage from free radicals, which we are exposed to everyday from sun exposure and environmental pollutants. By helping reduce cell and protein damage they also help reduce damage and break down of the collagen matrix proteins in your skin. Algae: Algaes are a natural source of astaxanthin, one of the most powerful antioxidants. They work by inhibiting the formation of enzymes (collagenases), which otherwise degrade collagen. Therefore, they help prevent further breakdown of collagen and help maintain the health of your skin.
