Bee Works Bee Combed Pillar Candles When we originally created this line of smooth pillars, we wanted to add a unique type of trimming to decorate the top and bottom of each candle. We tried several options, but were not happy. One day, a retired bee farmer came by looking to sell some old supplies from his fathers' days of beekeeping. The boxes were marked '1948' and were pure bee comb foundation. This treasury of 100% pure beeswax 'foundation' was the inspiration for the design. The BCPIL28 is the same size candle as the BCPIL26 with triple wick for greater illumination. However it will burn faster than its single wick equivalent melting to the edge in as little as two hours. With the proper maintenance and 'topping up' the candle can be burned for many hours.
