This immensely popular black tea is named after British Prime Minister Earl Grey, and since the 1830's it has been considered a classic. Earl Grey is not a type of tea, rather, it is a blend, black tea blended with a robust portion of a beautifully aromatic oil of Italian bergamot. • TEA PROFILE Golden amber liquor, medium-bodied and deep, with a robust bergamot linger. • TASTE AND STRENGTH Smooth and refined, with a classic character. • WHEN TO DRINK Ideal at any time of day, but provides for an especially pleasant morning awakening. • STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS Steep 1 teaspoon per 12 ounces of freshly boiled water for 5 minutes, depending on taste. Savour straight, or add a touch of milk to taste.
